What Is PowerCrossing?

PowerCrossing is an educational program which allows people with an interest in commodities to learn about commodities in general and to conduct simulated trading using a simple system that has proven effective in so-called "paper trading." PowerCrossing does not solicit orders, offer real market advice, or in any way condone commodities trading except on a simulated, recreational basis. The decision to trade real money is an individual’s sole decision.

What makes the PowerCrossing system different? First, it is a simple system that does not require years of study. Second, the easy-to-use trading software specifically identifies every PwrXng paper-trading opportunity, and the system pinpoints pre-determined entry and exit points for each trade identified.

The program includes eight hours of intensive on-site instruction, course manual, and trading software. "Learning updates" are also provided to PwrXng participants each market day on the web site.

June Results Paper-Trading the PowerCrossing System

The table below provides results of every A and B level paper-trade for the commodities followed by the PwrXng system for the period June 1 — June 25, 2002. The results speak for themselves.

Each trade represents a single-contract, and profit and loss are, of course, exclusive of any brokerage commissions that would occur in actual trading.

2 Area Coordinators and 14 New Students Train In Salt Lake City

PowerCrossing principals Walter Brown and Gerald Smith traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah for very successful training seminars on June 15. Their day long seminar trained 14 new students in the PowerCrossing system.

Who Is PowerCrossing?

PowerCrossing’s Lexington, Kentucky "home office" is basically comprised Walter Brown, Gerald Smith, and Dr. Leonard J. Schneck, each pictured below.

Walter Brown Gerald Smith Len J. Schneck, Ph.D.

Walter Brown is a commodities trader, PowerCrossing instructor, and, along with the other principals, a developer of both the PowerCrossing educational program and the PowerCrossing simulated trading system.

He has an extensive commodities trading background that began with personal trades and in-depth study while a student at the University of Kentucky. He later purchased, financed and managed multiple residential properties for rental income, and received Real Estate Broker, Mortgage Broker, General Lines Insurance and SEC Series licenses among others.

He gained additional valuable experience while working as an Analyst and Associate Vice President with the Legg Mason Real Estate Services office in Miami, Florida from 1992-1995 before returning to Kentucky to open and operate retail businesses.

Brown rediscovered his interest and belief in commodities as a powerful tool just a couple years ago while teaching a friend the basics of commodity trading. He discovered a very important thing about commodity price trends that produced effective results. He, along with the other principals, then began working to refine this discovery into a powerful, yet simple system. PowerCrossing is his way of sharing the system.

Leonard Joseph Schneck, Ph.D. is an independent wealth manager in Lexington, Kentucky and a former Professor of Finance at the University of Kentucky where he taught investment and financial derivative classes and also performed research on a broad range of investment topics including equities, futures and options.

He serves as consulting analyst for PowerCrossing,

He worked as a Financial Economist with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Washington, DC before coming to Kentucky. He performed research related to futures, options and swaps markets both for regulatory purposes and to better understand the economics and functionality of those markets while at the Commission. Dr. Schneck also worked as Senior Consultant at Price Waterhouse, Boston, MA and as an analyst/programmer.

A former Navy pilot, Dr. Schneck received his doctorate in Financial Economics from Carnegie Mellon University, Masters Degrees from Boston University (in Business Administration and in Computer Science) and the University of Florida (in Physics), and Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Florida.

Gerald Smith brings a successful sales background to the PwrXng organization, having worked as a sales representative for Roche Laboratories and as a franchise owner and factory representative for Herff Jones Company for 18 years. He is a strong detail-oriented businessman who has demonstrated the ability to start, maintain, and grow a business from the ground up.

Gerald, who resides in Nicholasville, Kentucky, comes from a family of three generations of successful equity market participants. He enjoys golf and raises miniature horses on his "gentleman’s" farm.
